Although most wild creatures we meet in the woods present little or no danger to us, there are some potential threats that we all need to be aware of when spending time outdoors. Be prepared! Join naturalist Carlton Burke to learn about some of these such as venomous snakes and spiders, stinging and biting insects, and other possible animal hazards you might encounter in the wild. Carlton will also be bringing along some live animals for this presentation.

This program is free and open to the public. Thank you to the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation for making this event possible.
