On Tuesday, August 13th at 9am local mycologists and Asheville Mushroom Club members, Charlotte Caplan and Dave Jarjoura, will lead a mushroom hike on the FENCE property. This guided hike will meet at the main FENCE building. Whether you are an experienced mushroom hunter or you are just interested in learning more about the mushroom world, this should be a fun and educational hike for all who attend! If people want to collect specimens to look at more closely, they should bring a basket and a folding pocket knife.
