Cowboy Mounted Shooting Show
Cowboy Mounted Shooting, one of the fastest growing
equestrian sports, is an exciting display of horsemanship
and marksmanship. Mounted contestants compete in this
fast action timed event using two .45 caliber single action
revolvers each loaded with five rounds of specially
prepared blank ammunition.

Each day four different courses are drawn from the official pattern book for the Main Match and two different courses for Rifle/Shotgun and Cavalry. You will see a variety of levels of competitors, ranging from novice levels who may trot a course to the seasoned professionals who engage the course at a full gallop. This is a family sport for all ages and you will see competitors ranging from the youngest (under age 12 they ride but don't shoot) to folks in their 70s and up.
