The Basement Bunch originated as a group of fellow musicians 12 years ago who just wanted to get together and jam in Jim Peterman’s basement, hence their name. Over the years, members have come and gone but the weekly jam sessions continued, refining, practicing, learning from one another until a cohesive band was formed. The band regularly performs in the area with Jim Peterman on organ & vocals, John Holvelsrud on guitar, Mike Carruth on drums & vocals, Vinny Corda on flute, sax, guitar & vocals and Elaina Prevett on bass & mandolin. They can be heard every week at Peterman’s house and if you drive by with your windows down, you just may.
