Fall Bird Walk
This event is free and open to the public. Birders of all levels are welcome. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring along binoculars if you have them. This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.

Join Kevin Burke of Carolina Nature Tours at FENCE on Wednesday, November 13th at 9 am for an easy and enjoyable morning walk exploring the fields and trails in search of late fall migrants, newly arrived winter visitors, and year-round residents. This is a great time of year for sparrows and we expect to see several species, including White-throated, Swamp and Chipping as well as plenty of woodpeckers and mixed flocks of songbirds.
