TROT Rider takes the spot light!

Our very own Emma speaks with WLOS about her experience as a TROT rider.

Behind the more obvious activities at FENCE is a dedicated, loyal and skilled group of volunteers who gather every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings at quiet Rosemary's Barn and in the ring behind the historic log cabin to offer therapeutic horseback riding and horsemanship to individuals who are physically, cognitively, developmentally and emotionally challenged. Students of all ages learn horsemanship and basic horse care while receiving many benefits such as: improved balance, mobility, muscle tone, coordination and posture, enhanced independence and increase concentration and self-esteem. Therapeutic Riding of Tryon is in its eighth year of existence and is an important part of what FENCE is.
