FENCE Receives Support from the Kirby Endowment Fund at the Polk County Community Foundation
The Foothills Equestrian Nature Center (FENCE) is proud to announce continued support from the Kirby Endowment Fund at the Polk County Community Foundation. This generous funding helps FENCE provide free educational programs and community events that inspire a deeper connection to nature.
Founded in 1984, FENCE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering outdoor educational opportunities for people of all ages. Its programs include summer day camps, nature education, family events, and a variety of community programs that promote appreciation and stewardship of the natural world.
The Kirby Endowment Fund honors the legacy of Dave Kirby, a respected and well-loved member of the Polk County community. His commitment to giving back lives on through this endowment, ensuring that organizations like FENCE can continue to serve the region for generations to come.
“Support from the Kirby Endowment Fund allows us to carry forward our mission of making nature education accessible to everyone,” said Ashley Brewington, Administration Assistant at FENCE. “We are honored to be part of Dave Kirby’s lasting legacy and deeply grateful for this investment in our community.”
FENCE invites the public to take part in its many free programs offered throughout the year.
