FENCE is offering free yoga on Fridays at 10:15am in the great room. The yoga classes are taught by local instructor Rhonda Giles. This yoga class is designed for all levels, first time yoga students welcome! Attendees should plan to bring a water bottle, comfortable, flexible clothing, and a yoga mat. Extra yoga mats are available to borrow at FENCE. These classes are made possible by the free community event grant at Polk County Community Foundation.

Interact with materials used in our therapeutic riding program such as metal ramp, poles, cones, barrels, balls, hula hoops, basketball, and bowling games. For more advanced participants, one station will include plastic bags, tarps and water “hazards”. Plus, experience our therapeutic riding sensory trail. Knowledgeable volunteers will be onsite to assist you with the process of desensitizing your horse. Space is limited and registration is required

Join FENCE for a Summer bird walk around the property! Late Summer can be full of surprises. As fall migration begins, you never know what birds you might find! Join Michael Plauche, Ventures Birding guide, at 8 am on Thursday, August 25th for an easy and enjoyable morning exploring the trails at FENCE in search of resident birds as well as early migrants.
