We have a number of interesting birds that spend the winters with us. Sparrows, Raptors, and Blackbirds are all definite possibilities.  Regional specialties such as the Red-headed Woodpecker and Brown-headed Nuthatch have also been spotted regularly on the property. Some birds we hope to see are White-throated Sparrow, Eastern Meadowlark, Red-shouldered Hawk, Brown Thrasher, and many more.  This should be a fun morning of easy birding!  Please meet at the lower parking lot below the Nature Center near the pollinator garden. Birders of all levels are welcome. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring along a water bottle.

This event is free and open to the public. This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.
