Put together by North American Bluebird Society in 1978, this is the history of how populations of Bluebirds went from concerning decline to much better numbers with the help of some people who developed specific guidelines of how to construct nesting boxes and monitor them.

Bio:
Evangeline LaMore, has been a Songbird rehabilitator for over 20 years, and Polk County coordinator for The North Carolina Bluebird Society for 5 years. She started by volunteering at ‘Earthplace’ Nature Center learning about wildlife rehab in Westport, CT.
Evangeline and Terry moved to N.C. in 2005 and she pursued a U.S. Fish & Wildlife Federal permit and a North Carolina State permit to rehabilitate Migratory Songbirds in a homebased situation.
She enjoys helping people with their Bluebird boxes and answering all types of questions about songbirds in general.
Registration is encouraged for this event. Please make sure to add a ticket for each attendee so we have an accurate headcount for the event.
