Needle felted "Painting" Class

Talented needle felting artist, Irene Heckel will teach a Needle Felted painting class at FENCE on Saturday, February, 2nd from 10am-2pm. This needle felted painting class involves using fibers to create a “painting” of a pet photo pre-selected by the student. The students will start with a prefelt background and then use fibers to create colors by overlaying and blending colors to get shades. Each student will create their own “painting” to take home at the end of the class. The fee for this class is $60. This price includes all supplies. Irene will assist students throughout the class with their artwork.

Students must provide a photo (headshot only) of the animal they wish to use for their needle felted painting to ensure that the appropriate colored fibers are available. Photos of Cats, Dogs, or Horses are prefered. Photos can be provided via email or dropped off at FENCE and should be size 8”x10” if possible to ensure the best detail. Space for this class is limited and pre-registration is required.
