Fall Foliage Ride

Saturday, October 13th Fall Foliage Ride FENCE is sponsoring a Fall Foliage Ride in the Gowensville, SC area. This "in the shadows of the blue ridge" ride is made possible by a special arrangement with the generous land owners. These trails are otherwise completely private. Sue McDaniel will lead the ride at a very leisurely pace, and participants MUST stay with the group. Horses need to be mannered, be willing to cross streams, be able to travel briefly on gravel roads, and fit enough to walk for 3 hours up and down hills. The views are gorgeous and FENCE hopes that many trail riders will take advantage of this unique opportunity to ride on trails normally not available to the public. The cost is $35 per horse and certified helmets are advised.
