Kids Nature Club
This month's theme is decomposers! Kids will learn which organisms are decomposers, learn about their role in ecosystems, make a miniature wormery, and get a chance to check out the rest of FENCE's animals. Kids Nature Club is offered free and open to the public and will be held on a drop in basis, so adults should plan to accompany their children while at FENCE. Activities are geared towards children aged 5-12. Families are encouraged to bring their kids by for Kids Nature Club but also spend some time during their visit exploring the trails.

Walk in the Woods
Winter is a wonderful time to explore the woods at FENCE. Come enjoy a walk during this special time of year while discovering the amazing ways local animals and plants survive in the cold winter. Dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes. This guided walk is free and open to the public.

This month's theme is "For the Love of Birds..." We will be making bird feeders, learning about different types of bird seed, and checking out different bird nests. Kids Nature Club is offered free and is open to the public and will be held on a drop in basis, so adults should plan to accompany their children while at FENCE. Join international bird guide Aaron Steed for a walk in the woodlands and fields of FENCE and look for a variety of migrant songbirds.Fall migration will be past its peak but there will still be much to see in the way of birds.
