Winter Bird Walk with Simon Thompson

The first bird walk of the year!! Meet at the Trail Shelter for this 2 hour walk. Bring binoculars and good walking shoes, and enthusiasm for a walk exploring the birds in our winter woodlands. Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks are calling and displaying and should soon be building their nests and Red-winged Blackbirds should soon be arriving at the FENCE pond.

International bird guide, Aaron Steed, will lead a Summer Bird walk on the FENCE property. This guided walk is appropriate for birders of all skill levels. Please remember to bring along comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, and binoculars if you have them.

Needle Felting Class

Get artsy at FENCE with a needle felted “painting” class. Talented fiber artist, Irene Heckel, will lead the class in creating a beautiful felted painting from the pet picture of their choice. This class has limited space so please call FENCE to register. There is a $60 fee for this class-all supplies are included with the fee.
