Wicker basket making with Carla Filippelli
Carla Filippelli will join us at FENCE to teach "Learn Wicker Basketry-Create an Interwoven Basket". Participants will learn Wicker Basketry techniques while creating a charming interwoven base basket. With the use of hand dyed colorful reeds we will focus on shaping, texture changes, basketry tips and more in an easy to master technique. Students will gain plenty of skills to try more ambitious pieces in the future. Please pre-register for this class. $60 fee includes all supplies for the workshop. Beginners welcome! Students should bring an old towel to the workshop.

Wicker Birdhouse Workshop
Carla Filippelli will return to FENCE to teach a Birdhouse basket making workshop. Students will create a distinctive birdhouse and learn the twined method of weaving. Each participant will work with hand dyed colorful reeds and will learn an easy to master technique.

Wildflower Journey through Photography
Scott Dean's program this month will be inside for a change. Join him for a photographic journey through many of our local wildflowers. This should be a delight as Scott as many lovely photos of our native flora.

Wildflower talk with Tim Lee
Join us in the great room for a talk on wildflowers with local naturalist, Tim Lee. This well informed talk is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.

Wine & Paint Night
On Wednesday, February 21st from 6 to 8 p.m. FENCE will host a Wine and Paint night featuring local artist, Becky Hyatt Rickenbaker. Becky will walk attendees through the painting process on a pre-sketched canvas. Beginner painters are welcome to attend! Each attendee will take home a painting that they can add to their home decor or gift to a loved one! All supplies are included in the fee for the class. Wine and Paint Night with Christine Mariotti
Be sure not to miss out on this Valentine’s Day themed wine and paint night. All supplies for the evening will be included in the price. We will be working in Acrylic paint. Beginner painters always welcome! Please reserve a seat in advance, space is limited for this event. Cost: $35

Wine and Paint
Come out to FENCE for a night of painting and drinking wine. Local artist Grace Lertora will be present throughout the night to demonstrate a painting for the group and help guests with their paintings. Beginners as well as painters of all skill levels welcome for this event. The theme for the painting will be an Autumn Landscape. There is a fee for the event which will include all supplies for the evening. Pre-registration is required as space for the event is limited. Call FENCE to register for this class.
