Wine and Paint with Christine Mariotti
Come out to FENCE for a night of painting and drinking wine! On Thursday, April 20th FENCE will be hosting a wine and paint night from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Local artist Christine Mariotti will be present throughout the night to demonstrate a painting for the group and help guests with their paintings. Beginners as well as painters of all skill levels welcome for this event.

Free Family Concert with Tina and Her Pony
Tina & Her Pony are an Indie Appalachian Folk Duo from Asheville, NC. Tina Collins (tenor banjo, tenor ukulele, guitar, vocals) and Quetzal Jordan (cello, guitar, vocals) met in Asheville in 2009. They spent two years holed up in the high desert mountain town of Taos, New Mexico, making music and friends, and becoming one of the iconic artist colony’s most beloved performing acts.

Go Fly A Kite
This long running event is always a family favorite in the community. Get outside and enjoy springtime at FENCE on this fun day. It’s always a great time flying kites up on Hawk’s ridge and enjoying the wonderful view of community members flying kites and having fun together. FENCE will provide kites to the first 200 children who arrive and there will be drinks and snacks for all who attend the event. This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.

Free Family Concert with Alex Taub
Pianist Alex Taub and Vocalist Pamela Jones will play for our Sunday family concert. Pamela and Alex have been performing together for the better part of 3 years, honing in a selection of tunes that covers some of the greatest song writers of the last century, from George Gershwin and Duke Ellington, to Burt Bacharach and Elton John. Join them as they select a few of their favorites to perform in this intimate duo setting. This event is free and open to the public. Be sure to stick around after the performance for refreshments.

Wicker Birdhouse Workshop
Carla Filippelli will return to FENCE to teach a Birdhouse basket making workshop. Students will create a distinctive birdhouse and learn the twined method of weaving. Each participant will work with hand dyed colorful reeds and will learn an easy to master technique.

Natural History of the Carolinas with Todd Elliott
Todd Elliott will give a presentation on the Natural History of the Carolinas. Todd Elliott's talk will be filled with his award winning photographs and encompass science, natural history, folklore, ecology, and the biodiversity of the Carolinas.

Trail Workday
The FENCE Trail Crew will have a trails work session. Local hikers as well as any Palmetto Trails enthusiasts are encouraged to attend. Bring your favorite cutters and wear appropriate clothing.

Free Family Concert with Cello Times Two
Cello Times Two returns with Dr. Brenda Leonard and Benjamin Smith. They will be performing a lighthearted, fun, and easy mixture of some old favorites like The Entertainer and the Swan, classical works, pops from our parents childhood, and more arranged or written for two cellos. This is a crowd pleasing program that all who attend are sure to enjoy. This event is free and open to the public. Be sure to stick around after the performance for refreshments. Fall Community Garage Sale
Mark your calendars and reserve a stall! There is always something for everyone. All proceeds are kept by the seller. Hospice Thrift Barn of Landrum, SC will have a truck on site if you wish to donate your un-sold items to this worthy charity. The garage sale is under cover so come rain or shine. There is plenty of parking on site.
