Hunter Pace - May 10
There is something quietly special about a Sunday spent with horses, where the pace slows, the air feels a little wider, and the day is shaped by the rhythm of hooves and good company. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, riders are invited to gather at 3381 Hunting Country Rd. in Tryon, NC for a welcoming, relaxed event that brings together riders of all levels and styles. This show features two divisions, Field Hunter and Trail Rider, created to give everyone a place to participate comfortably. Jumps in the Field Hunter division are optional, allowing riders to choose their own level of challenge and enjoyment. With all breeds welcome, it is a true celebration of partnership between horse and rider, no matter the experience level or background. The day begins with the first ride at 9 AM and continues through 2 PM, offering a flexible window for riders to enjoy the course at their own pace. Entry fees are $40 per horse, with a reduced fee of $25 for children 12 and under. Recognition is part of the fun, with ribbons awarded from 1st through 6th place in both divisions. Riders are also encouraged to add a bit of personality, as Best Dressed Medals will be awarded for standout style in the arena. For the safety of all participants, a current negative Coggins test and protective headgear are required.
