All about the TROT Horse Show

Students’ abilities will be showcased when Therapeutic Riding of Tryon hosts its annual Student Horse Show on Saturday, Nov. 23, at the FENCE Equestrian Center. Nineteen students, children and adults, will compete in trail and equitation classes. The horse show judge will be local equestrian KC Betzel of Landrum, who competes in the horse discipline of eventing.

ChesterThe horse show is free and the public is invited. There will be horse demonstrations and refreshments available from Paul Dale’s Foothills Mountain Bar-B-Que.

The artistic talents of TROT’s therapy horses and some of their human supporters will be highlighted in a silent auction of “Dali Hooves” creations painted by the horses this fall. The silent auction will also include paintings by TROT volunteers and supporters. All proceeds from the art auction will benefit TROT. Dali Hooves

The show gets underway at 10:30 a.m., rain or shine. Bring a lawn or camp chair. The FENCE Equestrian Center is located at the Mane Gate, Hunting Country Road in Tryon.
