Great work!

Recently seven dedicated volunteer naturalists braved a chilly morning to transplant 200 improved Loblolly pine seedlings at FENCE. Under the direction of volunteer Chuck Hearson and Polk County Forest Ranger Ryan Searcy, the volunteers helped reforest a half acre of barren land that was the site of a storm blowdown where a Virginia pine stand was twisted and knocked to the ground.

Those folks who pitched in were Cathy Brettman, Michael Chapman, Don Dicey, Andy Foster, John Sellick , Shawn and John Matthew, along with their leaders Ryan Searcy and Chuck Hearon.
