FENCE welcomes new TROT Director

TROT, Therapeutic Riding of Tryon at FENCE, has some exciting changes to announce! For the past 3 years, Allison Rhyne has been the beloved director for TROT. This past January, Allison took the leap into retirement. FENCE wishes to thank Allison for her years of dedication and devotion to FENCE and the TROT program. Allison was a bright light at the organization and will surely be missed! FENCE staff, board, and volunteers wish Allison the best in her retirement! Though Allison will no longer be acting TROT director she will continue her work with TROT on the volunteer level.

Now to welcome in the new TROT Director; FENCE is excited to announce that Meg McGarrigle has been selected to fill the position! Meg officially stepped into the director role on January 18th. Meg has a background in therapeutic riding, animal assisted therapies, equus coaching, and team/leadership development. FENCE is thrilled to have Meg joining the TROT team and is excited to see Meg in action when the TROT session starts back up again. The Spring session of TROT begins on Monday, March 8th. TROT has been a staple in the community since 2004 working to provide equine assisted activities to adults and children with physical, developmental and cognitive disabilities in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. FENCE is delighted to watch the program grow and change this year with Meg at the reins.
