On Saturday, January 29th at 10am FENCE will host a talk with Suzanne Monaghan, a retired pediatrician, focusing on the benefits of spending time outdoors to children and their development.
This talk is aimed towards parents and guardians of young children, as it will focus on the physical, mental, social-emotional, and developmental benefits to children, but all are welcome to attend. In addition, Suzanne will introduce FENCE’s new early childhood program, Nature Exploration & Play at FENCE. This new program, beginning in mid-February will allow children ages birth to 6 years old to engage in the wonders of the outdoors through discovery, observation, imagination, and inquiry.
