This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required as seating is limited. Please call 828-859-9021 or email info@fence.org to register. This event will take place in the great room at FENCE. Face coverings will be required if indoors. If weather permits, the event may be moved to the outdoor pavilion adjacent to the FENCE center.
Chris Wayne, singer-songwriter from Greenville, SC plays the music of 1950’s Americana. Chris plays originals along with covers of Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, and Little Richard to name a few.
His originals reflect blended influences of Rock, Swing, Country, Delta Blues, and New Orleans R&B. Critic, Brandon Anderson, of Slap that Bass, AJ’s Rockin Music Reviews, recently described Chris’ style as “crooner with an edge.”
Chris recently released his first single, “Fiona,” which has been featured on the Local Artist Showcase on WTZQ radio in Hendersonville, NC, Mr. Palmer’s Rockabilly Radio Show on WRUU radio in Savannah, GA, and Rockabilly Radio out of the UK.
