DESCRIPTION:This month in honor of the 4th annual North Carolina State
 wide Star Party\, FENCE is featuring our resident astronomical group\,
  Foothills Astronomical Society. Once a month members of the Foothills
  Astronomical Society\, typically on the first Friday of the month dep
 ending on the weather\, come out to FENCE at sunset and set up telesco
 pes on top of Hawk’s Ridge (behind the FENCE center). Foothills Astr
 onomical Society aims to encourage astronomy and space exploration lea
 rning throughout the community. Whether you are a first time star gaze
 r or an experienced observer\, all are welcome to join the group.
