DESCRIPTION:FENCE welcomes everyone from first time birders to advance
 d birders to join Simon Thompson\, local ornithologist for his walk on
  the FENCE property! \nEveryone loves birding in the spring and there 
 are few places nicer than the Carolina Foothills in April. The flowers
  are opening and the birds are all singing. Brown Thrashers sing their
  rich songs from the treetops and Eastern Bluebirds are probably alrea
 dy on eggs\, and the first broods of Carolina Chickadees and Tufted Ti
 tmice may have already hatched. We should enjoy warm weather and birds
 ong on a fine spring day.\n\nThis event is made possible by the Kirby 
 Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.
