FENCE All Day Camp
AGES (5-12) $150.00 SESSION 8A.M. – 5P.M. THIS CAMP WILL BE AN ALL DAY CAMP WITH A MIXTURE OF ALL THE OTHER CAMPS INCLUDING, EXPLORING NATURE, LEARNING ABOUT THE EARTH & ASTRONOMY, AND SURVIVAL SKILLS. THIS WEEK WILL BE A VERY EXCITING WEEK FULL OF LOTS OF GREAT THINGS TO LEARN. INCLUDES MORNING & AFTERNOON SNACK , BRING BAG LUNCH Limited to 50 Campers

Intermediate Horse Camp
Ages 8 through 12, begins on June 23 with the last day on June 27. Sessions start at 8:30 AM and end at 12:30 PM, with a cost of $150 per camper. For this class campers must have attended at least one full session of beginner’s horse camp (listed above) or have received prior approval from FENCE. This class is also limited to 25 campers. Beginner Horse Camp
June 16 through June 20 is horse camp for ages 8 to 12, where participants learn the basics of horse care, including horse safety, grooming and tacking up. Students also learn how to mount a horse, to dismount and how to walk and trot when mounted. This camp is limited to 25 campers, starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM. The cost per camper is $150.

Yoga rescheduled for April 18
Rhonda Durbin is a fitness instructor and personal trainer at Tryon Health & Fitness Club. We are very excited to offer ten weeks of free yoga on Fridays at 11:30 AM starting February 7 through April 11. These classes are made possible by the Kirby Endowment at Polk County Community Foundation.

"Late winter in the Southern Foothills can be a very exciting as winter slowly slips north. The days slowly start to warm up and we may start to see a few flowers appearing in the still brown woodlands. Our winter birds are also slowly slipping north, but some will be now starting to sing and nothing is more beautiful on a winter day than the song of the Hermit Thrush.
