Earth Day Hike

Meet at the FENCE center for a leisurely hike through the trails on FENCE property. AmeriCorps member, Michael McClure will lead this hike, focusing on different things encountered along the trails. Families with elementary aged children are encouraged to attend to get out, explore, and enjoy nature on Earth Day.

OTHER CAMPS INCLUDING, EXPLORING NATURE, LEARNING ABOUT
THE EARTH & ASTRONOMY, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND SURVIVAL SKILLS.
THIS WEEK WILL BE A VERY EXCITING WEEK FULL OF LOTS OF GREAT THINGS TO LEARN INCLUDES MORNING & AFTERNOON SNACK , BRING BAG LUNCH

This event is free and open to the public. Birders of all levels are welcome. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring along binoculars if you have them. This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.

Meet at the FENCE center on Thursday, October 8th at 8am for a fall bird walk led by a Ventures birding guide. Physical distancing will be observed and group size will be limited. Please bring a face covering for the walk.
