Celebrate all things nature at FENCE this Fall!

For many of us in the south, Fall comes as a relief. As the hot summer days begin to dwindle into cooler fall days and nights, many people seek out fun fall activities to relish in the changing seasons. Typically, there is no shortage of festive fall activities in the surrounding communities from apple and pumpkin picking, fall leaf viewing hikes, going on hay rides, braving haunted houses, and so much more.

This fall, as you schedule your must do list for the season, be sure to mark the calendar for Sunday, October 13th from 12pm-4pm and plan to join in on the fun that is sure to be had at FENCE.

FENCE’s annual Celebrate Fall at FENCE festival is quickly becoming a family and community favorite. Offered at no cost to the community, thanks to the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation, FENCE offers an afternoon of good ol’ fashioned entertainment. The festival, held entirely outdoors, hopes to engage visitors in the nature that surrounds them with many activities and guests themed to teach the community about the environment and the wildlife we share it with. Featuring live animal encounters with local wildlife rehabilitators, kids crafts, food, live music, face painting, yards games, and so much more! The festival has something for all ages to enjoy. We hope to see you all at the fall festival this October!
