Free Family Concert with Daniel Keller Trio
The Dan Keller Trio consists of 3 of Asheville's hardest working jazz musicians: Drummer Micah Thomas, Ryan Kijanka, and Dan Keller. The trio has played in venues across the eastern U.S. from Charleston, SC to Plainville, CT and witnessed Micah's brief career as a comedian while stuck on the "quiet ride" on one of Philadelphia's public trains.

Specializing in daring improvisations, novel arrangements, and subtly incorporating elements of Classical, Funk, and Rock music for an occasional surprise, the musicians continue their path towards a unique group sound and tightness, which is too often absent in Jazz.
Refreshments will be served following the performance. This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.
