You can help FENCE by participating in the 2008 BMW Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament!

FENCE is one of twenty area charities named as a beneficiary of this year's Pro-Am, taking place May 12 - 18 on three exclusive and beautiful area courses - our own Bright's Creek Golf Club in Mill Spring, along with the Thornblade Club in Greer and the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg. Each year's tournament attracts celebrity PGA players from around the country, and is broadcast live on the Golf Channel.

You can help maximize our share of the proceeds and promote our community service in nature education and outdoor recreation in two ways: by volunteering and by purchasing entry credentials that will give you access to each course during play.

Volunteering: The more volunteers FENCE supplies to help staff the tournament, the greater our return. Volunteer tasks range from score runners to hospitality services, and it's a great way to see the tournament from the inside. The sooner you volunteer, the more likely you will be assigned to the task(s) of and course(s) of your choice. Volunteers pay a $40 fee and receive a kit that includes an official tournament shirt, hat, credentials for you and a guest, food and beverages while working and other benefits. Credentials: FENCE is selling three types of entry credentials, and will receive all, or a portion, of each sale. The three types are: a $25.00 Patron Credential, which includes access to grounds only; a $50 Clubhouse Credential, for access to each course's clubhouse and grounds;  and a $125 One-Day VIP Credential, which includes access to clubhouse and grounds along with complimentary breakfast, lunch and open bar. FENCE will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Patron Credentials, and $25 of each Clubhouse and One-Day VIP credential sold.
