Kid's Nature Club
The activities offered will be both fun and educational aimed to engage children between the ages of 5 and 12. The “Kids Nature Club” will be offered free and open to the public and will be held on a drop in basis, so adults should plan to accompany their children while at FENCE. Families are encouraged to bring their kids by for the “Kids Nature Club” but also spend some time during their visit exploring the trails. This month’s theme is Insects. Invasive Plant Removal
Cancelled due to weather. Please check back for reschedule date in May. In support of National Volunteer Week, April 16th – 20th, FENCE is hosting an invasive species removal project. Invasive plants destroy countless acres of native habitat. They often decrease or eliminate the biodiversity that exist within these ecosystems. Removing invasives helps to restore that biodiversity.
